Hide the Donate/Contribute Button

Since 2015, there is a Donate/Contribute Tab button in JDownloader. 

If you want to remove it, you have two options:

  1. Donate to the JDownloader project. The button will disapear afterwards.
  2. Do not donate, but open the settings panel ->Advanced Settings ->Search for Donate Button ->Choose "Hidden (UserMode)"
