Ardmediathek login instructions

For technical reasons, the ARDMediathek login method is a bit different than other login methods.

Important: You only need ARDMediathek accounts to download age restricted content.

If your ARD account is not age-verified, you can not add it to JDownloader!

1. Go to ardmediathek.de and login.
2. Follow our cookie login instructions and when you reach step 4, use the following special URL to obtain the login cookies: https://sso.ardmediathek.de/sso/token
   When you open that page you may see a text that begins with {"idToken":"ey.
   If you see the text "Cookie not found", this is a sign that you are not logged in. Ensure that you are actively logged in on ardmediathek.de and reload the URL multiple times.
3. Once you've exported your cookies and added them to JDownloader as described in the cookie login instructions, JDownloader should accept your account and you should be able to crawl age restricted content at any time of the day.

Troubleshooting

I'm getting error "Cookie not found" at step 2 but I'am logged in just fine, what can I do?

If you use "Sandboxie", try again without.

If you do not use "Sandboxie", try again with another browser.
