How can I download using a premium or premium GOLD account?

1. Go to 1fichier.com/console/params.pl -> Click on API Key -> Get my API Key -> Copy the key to your clipboard
   If you can't see "Get my API key", click on Disable API usage instead and then on Get my API key.
   If the 1fichier website does not give you the option to display/generate an API key, your 1fichier account is not a premium account.

Important:

Do not add free accounts or free accounts with paid CDN credits via API key!

I have problems with premium downloads or premium login, what can I do?

1. If a 1fichier.com account is already in your JDownloader Account Manager, delete it.
2. Scroll down to How to login via API? in this article. 

JDownloader says "Account type: Unknown" or "Unknown Account" | My account status seems incorrect and it mentions 'API flood', what does this mean?

The 1fichier.com API has very strict account checking rate limits.

By checking the same 1fichier account multiple times within some minutes, you can easily trigger this protection.

This only means that at this moment, JDownloader is unable to fetch your 1fichier account information.

Your account is still perfectly usable and downloads should work just fine.

Either wait until JDownloader is automatically checking your account next time or wait at least 10 minutes, then rightclick on your 1fichier account in the account manager -> Refresh

I bought a 'premium key'/'Voucher'/'Activation key' from a reseller - how can I use that in JDownloader?

1. Register a free 1fichier.com account.
2. Login, go to 1fichier.com/console/vu.pl and redeem your voucher there.
3. Now your 1fichier account should become a premium account and you should be able to add it to JDownloader using the instructions in this article.
4. Start downloading.

I'm getting the error "VPN/proxy/datacenter IP not allowed; CDN credits needed for downloading",  "Must Have CDN", "professional equipment, must have CDN" or "Premium status must not be used on professional services".

1fichier.com is blocking VPN, Proxy and Server/Datacenter-IPs.
Only Premium GOLD accounts are allowed to download via such IPs.

Double-check!

Go to this page: https://1fichier.com/network.html If there is a red text "VPN detected", your current IP got flagged as a VPN/proxy/datacenter IP by 1fichier.

If you own a "Premium GOLD" account, try this:

1. Settings -> Account Manager -> Select your 1fichier.com account -> Remove
2. Scroll down to How to login via website? in this article.
3. Start downloading.

Check for IP ban:

If you do not own a Premium GOLD account or if the above did not help to fix the problem, your IP might have been banned/flagged mistakenly.

1. Reproduce the same problem in your browser.
   Try multiple times if needed.
2. Create a screenshot once you can see this- or a similar error message during your download attempt via browser.
3. Contact the 1fichier support, attach the screenshot to your message and also include your current external IP.
   This error message is neither related to the JDownloader software nor can we help to resolve it.

If you are knowingly using a VPN/proxy or similar, you need to buy- and use so called 'CDN credits', see 1fichier.com/tarifs.html -> Scroll down to 'CDN Offer'.

I bought CDN credits, how can I use CDN credits for downloading?

1. Stop your downloads in JDownloader and open 1fichier.com/console/params.pl in your browser -> Click on "CDN Credits" -> Hit the checkbox "Use my Credits for my Own Downloads"

2. Go to Settings -> Account Manager -> Rightclick on your 1fichier.com account -> Refresh
   It should look like this: Status column: "... CDN Credits: XXGB | CDN Used: Yes" and the "Download Traffic left" column should display the available CDN credit traffic.
3. Now you can start your downloading again. Your CDN credits will be used for downloading.

My (premium) account downloads are very slow, what can I do about this?

Are you running on older hardware or older server hardware?

The following hint is especially for devices with older hardware but you can try it either way (background information).

1. Go to 1fichier.com and login, then go to 1fichier.com/console/params.pl -> Click on 'FORCE THE DOWNLOADS WITHOUT SSL' -> Enable this checkbox
2. In JDownloader go to Settings -> Plugins -> 1fichier.com -> SSL Mode -> Ensure that this is set to 'Auto'
3. Delete- and re-add the affected 1fichier.com download links.
4. Start downloading.

My (premium) account downloads need a long time until they start, what can I do about this?

Go to Settings -> Plugins -> 1fichier -> There are two "request limit" settings.

Ensure that both ones are set to their lowest minimum setting (should be around 2500) or reset all of the 1fichier plugin settings to their defaults as explained here.

How to add a 1fichier premium account to JDownloader?

1. Go to Settings -> Account Manager -> Add -> 1fichier.com
2. Select any account type that contains the text "API login".
3. Enter your API key and hit 'Save'.

For Headless / MyJDownloader users:

Enter your E-Mail address into the username field and your API key into the password field.

Important: The API can only be used with real premium accounts.
It cannot be used with:

• Free accounts
• Free accounts with paid CDN credits

How to add a 1fichier free account to JDownloader?

1. Go to Settings -> Account Manager -> Add -> 1fichier.com
2. Select any account type that contains the text "Website login" or any of the "Free" account types.
3. Enter your E-Mail address and password and hit 'Save'.

For Headless / MyJDownloader users:

Enter your E-Mail address into the username field and your password key into the password field.

Important: The website login can be used with any account type but it is recommended to use the API login whenever possible.
