No links added on startup despite clipboard observation being enabled

This behavior is not a bug but rather a type of "spam protection." Many users have random links in their clipboard when starting JDownloader, and they may not want these links to be processed automatically.

Solutions:

  1. Change the clipboard content
After starting JDownloader, simply copy something else first, then copy the links you want JDownloader to process.
JD will recognize the new clipboard contents and process them accordingly.

  2. Permanently Change the Setting
If you want JDownloader to always process clipboard contents immediately after startup, follow these steps:

    • Go to: Settings -> Advanced Settings
    • Search for: GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.clipboardskipmode
    • Set its value to: NEVER

Deeper explanation for interested users:
JDownloader can only detect changes in the clipboard. When it starts, it reads the clipboard's content. If you copy the same link again without changing the clipboard's content in between, nothing happens. However, if you copy something else first, then copy the intended link, JDownloader detects the change and processes it.

Some users prefer not to add clipboard content at startup to avoid re-adding links after restarting JDownloader, while others expect links copied after startup to be added. Currently, JDownloader doesn’t retain clipboard content after restart, so it can’t detect changes to skip unchanged clipboard entries.
