JDownloader says "Account type: Unknown" or "Unknown Account" | My account status seems incorrect and it mentions 'API flood', what does this mean?
The 1fichier.com API has very strict account checking rate limits.
By checking the same 1fichier account multiple times within some minutes, you can easily trigger this protection.
This only means that at this moment, JDownloader is unable to fetch your 1fichier account information.
Your account is still perfectly usable and downloads should work just fine.
Either wait until JDownloader is automatically checking your account next time or wait at least 10 minutes, then rightclick on your 1fichier account in the account manager -> Refresh
I bought a 'premium key'/'Voucher'/'Activation key' from a reseller - how can I use that in JDownloader?
I'm getting the error "VPN/proxy/datacenter IP not allowed; CDN credits needed for downloading", "Must Have CDN", "professional equipment, must have CDN" or "Premium status must not be used on professional services".
1fichier.com is blocking VPN, Proxy and Server/Datacenter-IPs.
Only "Premium GOLD" accounts are allowed to download via such IPs.
Double-check!
Go to this page: https://1fichier.com/network.html If there is a red text "VPN detected", your current IP got flagged as a VPN/proxy/datacenter IP by 1fichier.

If you own a "Premium GOLD" account, try this:
1. Settings -> Account Manager -> Select your 1fichier.com account -> Remove
2. Settings -> Plugins -> 1fichier.com -> Use premium API -> Disable this
3. Settings -> Account Manager -> Re-add your 1fichier.com account
4. Start downloading.
If you do not own a "Premium GOLD" account or if the above did not help to fix the problem, your IP might have been flagged mistakenly.
1. Reproduce the same problem in your browser. Try multiple times if needed.
2. Create a screenshot once you can see this- or a similar error message during your download attempt via browser.
3. Contact the 1fichier support, attach the screenshot to your message and also include your current external IP.
This error message is neither related to the JDownloader software nor can we help to resolve it.

My (premium) account downloads need a long time until they start, what can I do about this?
Go to Settings -> Plugins -> 1fichier -> There are two "request limit" settings.
Ensure that both ones are set to their lowest minimum setting (should be around 2500) or reset all of the 1fichier plugin settings to their defaults as explained here.
